About Aimee Emmrich

Hi, I’m Aimee, a therapist in Arizona, and I’m really glad you’re here.

I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—their stories, relationships, and the patterns that shape how they experience the world. As a therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I use many approaches in therapy and tend to use a psychodynamic lens, which means we take time to explore deeper patterns, emotional dynamics, and themes that show up in your relationships. Together, we’ll look at not just what is happening, but why—and use that insight to create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to what feels most helpful for you.

My style is rooted in concentrated listening, clinical expertise, and authentic connection. I’m warm, approachable, and bring a good sense of humor into the room—because growth doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating. I care deeply about my clients and am very committed to walking alongside them as they navigate challenges, strengthen their relationships, and find their own voice. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply wanting to understand yourselves better, I aim to make therapy feel like a place where honesty and healing can coexist.

Outside of the therapy room, I love exploring new cultures and finding inspiration through travel—trying new foods, learning local traditions, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Those experiences remind me how deeply connected we all are. At home, I share life with my two dogs, who keep me grounded and bring a lot of joy (and occasional chaos) to my days. I also have a soft spot for 80s music, which may or may not make an appearance in conversation from time to time.

I truly believe everyone’s story matters—and it’s an honor to support you as you learn, grow, and move toward healing. I look forward to working with you.
