Dave Jones

David is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received a Master's of Social Work from the University of Utah.

David works from a holistic, social worker perspective through psycho-education and developing a comprehensive understanding, accepting, and love of oneself. David utilizes aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFT), Attachment theory, and Motivational Interviewing when working with clients. When working with the LGBTQIA+ population David pulls from queer theory and acceptance.

David loves to explore the desert and mountains with friends, family, and his two dogs. He enjoys backpacking, hiking, rafting, and horseback riding. When stuck inside David is happy with a book, board games, art, and puzzles of all different types. David values compassion, learning, education and cultural diversity. He enjoys raising and caring for plants and animals of all types.
