I'm Lyndz Simpson, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Arizona. I've spent over a decade in clinical practice, and what matters most to me is simple: creating a warm, safe space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment so you can process life's challenges and build a path toward lasting healing.
My passion for this work grew out of a lifelong desire to empower others and support people through life's pivotal moments. Before becoming a therapist, I provided health education through AmeriCorps, which grounded my dedication to advocacy and community service. Across my career spanning crisis stabilization, inpatient behavioral health, schools, and private practice, I've seen firsthand how resilient people can be, even during their hardest seasons.
I work with kids ages 10 to 12, adults, and couples, and I have specialized experience supporting first responders, military personnel, and veterans. Much of my focus centers on helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, postpartum mental health, and stress related to high-achievement or sports environments. I draw on evidence-based approaches like EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, and Solution-Focused Therapy, blending compassion with gentle accountability to help you build practical tools, confidence, and peace.
People often describe me as warm, authentic, and easy to talk to. Outside of the office, I'm a proud mom of two sons, a dog mom to five playful dogs, and an avid camper who loves recharging among the pines in Northern Arizona. Healing doesn't mean having everything figured out all at once. It starts with having a supportive space to be yourself. If you're ready to take that step, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
